To All our Wilder Bluegrass friends,                                 January 2, 2013

It is a heavy heart that we write this letter. Due to the untimely passing of James (Jim) Wilder we will not proceed with the Bluegrass festivals as we did in the past. This year the Milan festival will go on the date as planned, however it will be the sole responsibility of Mark Gaynier, the campground owner and personal family friend. Mark is planning something as a tribute to Jim that will surely be a moving experience for us all. We hope that you support Mark and KC campground and spend the August weekend enjoying Bluegrass just as Jim and the entire Wilder family has for many years. Please watch your mailboxes and contact Mark with your Milan festival ticket and contract questions.

As of this writing we have not solidified any plans for the June Charlotte festival, we are actively trying to find a promoter that will step up and have this historic festival, as you are aware this would have been the 41st year in a row. Unfortunately for now we ask that you take The Charlotte festival out of your summer plans. We ask that you check the Website often for any changes. If you or someone you know have an interest in securing the rights for this festival please contact wilderberry53@gmail.com.
